Cllr Penny Fielden has stood down from the Parish Council

Cllr Fielden may stand again for the council and in in the meantime will be working on the Community Speed Watch project in Scraptoft. The Parish Council would like to thank Penny for her work with the Council - in particular running the Seated Physical Activity classes at the Community Hub.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER:-

QUEEN STREET / KING STREET, BARKBY THORPE

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above locations.

A temporary road closure is required on Queen Street, King Street from 3rd June 2019 for 2 days.

Around 20 people, young and old, turned up despite the high winds to collect 30 bags of rubbish off the streets and hedgerows of Scraptoft.
